As travel resumes, planning your next trip should be a source of excitement, but making sense of the current regulations can feel like a headache. We’re here to take all the uncertainty out of your planning and give you the utmost confidence to book, secure in the knowledge we have you covered.

We’re committed to giving you choice and flexibility for any trip you book before 30th June 2022. When you come to pay your final balance, we’ll check that your trip meets the following four criteria for you to be able to travel. If it doesn’t, we’ll give you the best options for how to change your plans:

  1. The UK government allows International travel.
  2. Current FCDO advice allows travel to your destination.
  3. Your destination allows UK visitors to enter without quarantining.
  4. The experience you’ll have during your trip meets our standards.

If your destination meets all the above criteria

We realise that you might not be comfortable travelling even if your destination meets these criteria. You can still choose to postpone your trip at the point your final balance is due. In this scenario, we will pass on any seasonal increases, unrecoverable costs from suppliers or cost changes arising from different hotel choices or routings.

If you choose to cancel your trip, then cancellation charges will apply and you should take out adequate travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

If your destination doesn’t meet all the above criteria

In this instance, when it’s time to pay your final balance, you can choose to postpone your trip*, or receive a full refund.

Paying your balance with confidence

If any of the above four criteria affect your trip plans after you've paid your final balance and up to the day of your scheduled departure, we’ll give you the option to postpone your trip, or receive a full refund.

*The cost of your postponed trip may increase due to seasonal increases or changes in hotel choices or routing.
